Cheat Codes

Unlockable Challenge Cheats

After you complete the listed challenges, you unlock the corresponding cheat codes. You can activate them by going to the Cheats section in the "Abstergo Challenges Menu". Once you activate the codes, you can't earn trophies/achievements or save the game until you disable the cheats or restart the game completely.

Edward The Legend Outfit - Play Assassin's Creed 4 Singleplayer in Edward's authentic pirate outfit. Unlocks for 20 Uplay Points.


The Blades of Toledo Pack - Slay your enemies with the Blades of Toledo in Singleplayer, and unlock exclusive Multiplayer Profile items. Unlocks for: 30 Uplay Coins


The Vengeful Daughter Pack - Unlock the Multiplayer Lady Black's Vengeful Daughter costume, and additional items for the Jackdaw. Unlocks for 40 Uplay Points.

Powerful Ram Attack

If you can defeat all four of the legendary ships, you'll unlock a powerful ramming attack.

Robes: Altair, Ezio, And Conner

Altair Robes - Have Assassins Creed data on your system


Cat Outfit - Go to any general store and buy the animal pelts needed to craft it.


Connor Robes - Have Assassins Creed 3 data on your system


Ezio Robes - Have Assassins Creed 2 data on your system


Hunter Outfit - Go to any general store and buy the red howler monkey skin (5,000R) & white jaguar pelt (6,000R). Craft the outfit.


Mayan Outfit - Collecting the 16 Mayan Stones that you get from finishing each of the Mayan Stelae missions, followed by opening up the secret door in Tulum.


Stealth Outfit - Finish half the Assassin Contracts in the game.


Templar Outfit - Collect (mine)keys from finishing each of the 16 Templar Hunt missions, followed by opening up the cage in the Great Inagua hideout.

Infinite Loot

After you unlock Florida by synchronizing with the viewpoint, fast travel there and you should easily spot 2 ships, an English and a Spanish vessel. They have a random amount of loot on board. Climb slowly on board the Spanish one and loot as desired until you are forced to jump overboard. You have around 45 seconds to do so. Then head to the other ship, where you should have around a minute. Once the two ships have both sunk, open your map and fast travel to the viewpoint again. Both ships should reappear, allowing to loot them all over again. You can repeat the process as often as you like. It's a great way to find the resources to upgrade your Jackdaw.

Easy Boarding

If you are going up against big ships (like frigates), position your ship near your target and then swim to the ship to take the crew out in close quarters combat. When you've done that, swim back to the Jackdaw and then hit each ship with one broadside. You immediately win the boarding sequence that follows, without having to go into heavy fighting.

Infinite Money (Exploit)

In Sequence 2: Memory 3, you'll encounter an optional objective requiring you to pickpocket all Templars. There are three of them in the area, which follows shortly after a checkpoint. You can pick their pockets, then chose the option to "Reload Last Checkpoint." When you do, you'll find that the money you pocketed remains in your possession. You can repeat the process as often as you like before continuing the mission, and you can also come back to the mission later in the game if you wish. It's possible to earn 35,000R after around 7 minutes of effort. This exploit may soon be patched, so you'll want to play using the game's initial version if that proves to be the case.

Easy Shanties

There is a way to easily collect Shanties without chasing after them and possibly missing them. When you approach a Shanty, it typically moves quickly away. Instead of chasing it, stand exactly where you saw it appear and wait for several minutes (around 3 to 6). Eventually, it will reappear in that same location, where you are now standing, and you will automatically collect the sheet without having to chase it.

Easter Eggs

The IT Crowd

If you go to the map near the entrance to the modern-day Abstergo offices, you can overhear two co-workers talking about Chicago. If you wait a minute or two, they will begin talking about John from IT. The male worker comments that whenever he requests help, John replies smugly with "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" That appears to be a reference to the popular British comedy, "The IT Crowd."
