If you are a regular Fortnite player, then you’re no stranger to the plethora of challenges that are offered every season. One specific set of challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2 are the Alter Ego challenges, which will let players earn different skins as they level up throughout the season. One of those challenges will task players with figuring out where to summit the highest mountain in Fortnite Chapter 2.
Where to summit the highest mountain in Fortnite Chapter 2
You can find the highest mountain in Fortnite Chapter 2 in the southeast corner of the map. Specifically, it is just east of Misty Meadows and just south of Retail Row. You can see the exact location of the highest mountain in Chapter 2 on the map below.
Now that you’ve figured out where to summit the highest mountain in Fortnite Chapter 2, you’ll just need to follow a few more instructions to complete this Alter Ego challenge. The first thing you’ll need to do is make sure that you’re wearing the Journey outfit when you summit the mountain, as specified in the challenge. Don’t worry though, the Journey outfit can be unlocked in Tier 1 of this season’s Battle Pass.

Once you’re properly dressed, the rest is simple. All you need to do is visit the mountain marked in the map above. While the challenge does say you need to “summit the highest mountain,” it doesn’t mean you need to climb it — however, you certainly can if you’d like. Although it’d probably be easiest to simply land on the top of the mountain after you jump from the Battle Bus.
Although, if you’d prefer hiking up the highest mountain in Fortnite Chapter 2 to be more of an eventful or challenging experience, then definitely gather up some materials and get to climbing.
