Where to Find the Pokemon Sword and Shield Beast Ball Location

You will find the Beast Ball in Stow-on-Side. Before you fly on over to the city, however, you will need to be Pokemon Champion before you can get hold of the Beast Ball. From the Pokemon Centre in Stow-on-Side, head to the left until you see three market stalls. Talk to the man running the market stall in the middle of the lot and he will give you a Beast Ball if you are the Champion.

You can only be given one Beast Ball in Sword and Shield. If you waste or use yours up catching a Pokemon you cannot go back and get another. Unfortunately, too, aside from looking extremely cool, there isn’t much point in the Beast Ball. Read on to discover what you should use it for, though.

What Pokemon to use the Beast Ball on in Sword and Shield

As stated above, the Beast Ball is a collector’s item. Beast Balls were introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon and were used to catch the Ultra Beasts. Indeed, for Ultra Beasts, the Beast Ball has a 5x catch rate. For standard Pokemon and Legendaries, it has a 0.1x catch rate modifier. As there are no Ultra Beasts in Sword and Shield, you can only use it on regular Pokemon.

Yamper should be able to collect a failed Beast Ball so you can reuse it. That’s as long as your Yamper has the Ball Fetch ability. Unless the developers add Ultra Beasts into the game, for now, the Beast Ball is a cool-looking Poke Ball with limited catching abilities and that’s it.
