The latest promotional crossover between Epic Games and Respawn Entertainment is offering Fortnite players the chance to don the instantly recognizable Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit from the Star Wars franchise. There are two different methods that players can use to get the Fortnite Stormtrooper outfit, both of which we’ve outlined below.
How to get the Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit in Fortnite
The addition of Star Wars-themed festivities in Fortnite has heralded the arrival of perhaps one of the coolest Fortnite skins ever: The Imperial Stormtrooper. Not only are Stormtroopers among the most iconic images in Star Wars canon, they’re a perfect fit for players who probably don’t have very good aim.

We kid. But for anyone who wants to become a Fortnite Stormtrooper, the news is good: Players can purchase the Imperial Stormtrooper outfit same as they would any other outfit, simply by heading into the Fortnite Item shop. It’s an Epic Outfit, so it will cost players a tidy sum of 1,500 V-Bucks. That’s not exactly a high price for a genetically engineered soldier, but as far as Fortnite outfits go, it’s fairly expensive.
Alternatively, any player who purchases Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order through the Epic Games Store by November 30 will be given a code to download the Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit in Fortnite for free. It’s worth repeating that this code is not given out with copies of the game on other platforms; only users who pick up Jedi: Fallen Order through the Epic Games Store will be given the Stormtrooper Outfit.
The Fortnite Star Wars crossover is the latest in a long line of promotion tie-ins with Epic Games’ hit battle royale series. And, like many promotional items before it, players should not expect the Fortnite Imperial Stormtrooper Outfit to be available forever. Be sure to pick it up while you can, as there’s no telling when it may disappear.
