Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order stuttering

As stated above, there have been many reports that framerate stuttering and slowdown in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can get pretty bad. We’ve seen complaints from all versions of the game. It appears that some of you have been on the receiving end of framerate drops while playing, drops that shouldn’t be happening. Thankfully, it should be easy enough to fix, at least to some extent.

Jedi: Fallen Order PC stuttering fix

Unfortunately, in terms of fixes for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order stuttering on PC, all we can recommend is general fixes. Try to make sure that you have unnecessary background apps closed down while playing, for one thing. We’d also recommend that you lower your graphics settings. We know it’s not a real fix, but while we’re waiting for a proper fix from the developers via an update, all we can recommend is basic stuff.

Jedi: Fallen Order PS4 and Xbox One stuttering fix

On console, however, there are a couple of different fixes that may help alleviate your framerate woes to some extent. On PS4, at least, we’ve seen it suggested that turning off “Share User Data” may well improve the game’s performance, for whatever reason. We recommend that you give that a try. Changing from “Performance Mode” could see performance improvements on console, too, as that could be a little buggy. Again, though, the developers could improve framerate stuttering and slowdown on all three platforms via a patch. Hopefully, it’s fixed sooner rather than later.
