remnant: from the ashes update 1.11 patch notes

The latest PS4 update version 1.11 for Remnant: From the Ashes is a small one, with the download only weighing in around 500 megabytes. Its main purpose is to fix three issues that have been affecting users on Sony’s console, most notably the reticle offset issue that often made it difficult for players to land accurate shots.

Here are the full patch notes for Remnant: From the Ashes 1.11:

  • Fixed reticle offset issue on PS4
  • Blocked the control tutorials if tutorial prompts are disabled
  • Fixed kill action sometimes being applied to wrong character in failed QTE

This latest patch comes hot on the heels of the game’s recent Hardcore Update. As its name implies, the Hardcore Update introduced the new Hardcore Mode, which requires players to create a unique character who will disappear forever once killed. To make matters even more extreme, Hardcore characters can only play online with other Hardcore characters. Still, with greater risks come greater rewards, and after being earned, users are free to take the loot acquired in Hardcore mode into other game modes.

Dedicated fans are surely pleased to note that the Hardcore update is the first of three planned additions outlined in Gunfire Games’ recently revealed Remnant: From the Ashes development roadmap. We’re still waiting to hear more details about the upcoming changes, but we do at least know that the Survival Update should be released sometime around spring of 2020.

There really isn’t too much that has been changed in the Remnant: From the Ashes update 1.11 patch notes, but PlayStation 4 users will at least be happy to learn that the annoying reticle offset has finally been fixed.
