If you’re wondering where to find the Fortnite EGO outposts—most likely five of them specifically, in order to complete the relevant Lowdown challenge—you’re definitely in the right place. There are a total of seven EGO outposts in Fortnite Chapter 2p, but we’ll be focusing on the five easiest to make your life (and eventually scoring the hidden letter “N” on this week’s loading screen) that much easier.
EGO outpost locations for Fortnite Lowdown challenge
Above you can see a map on which we’ve placed Fortnite llama heads to show the general locations that you’ll need to explore. You don’t need to find them all in a single match or life, so take your pick and set an in-game waypoint, then consult the text guides below to track down those pesky E.G.O outposts and complete the Lowdown challenge.

- West of Pleasant Park — Make for the coastline where the highest llama on our map is placed; the E.G.O outpost should be plainly visible on the beach. It’s a building with a bridge/tunnel leading to a water tower-like structure.
- South of Steamy Stacks — Make your way to the location denoted by our rightmost llama. It’s between Steamy Stacks and Dirty Docks, where you should be able to see a building by the road on your map. That’s where you need to head.
- South of Frenzy Farm — About halfway between Lazy Lake and Frenzy Farm (see the most central llama), you’ll spot a brown patch with a structure amongst all the green grass on your map. That’s the E.G.O outpost you’re looking for.
- Southwest of Holly Hedges — Once again, you’ll be able to see a structure on your map close to the snaking road beside Holly Hedges (where the leftmost llama is placed). All you need to do is get yourself over there to be one step closer to finishing this Lowdown challenge.
- Southwest of Misty Meadows — Head uphill to the area where the bottom llama on our map is located. Near the cliff face, you’ll find another E.G.O outpost.
