No Man's Sky 2.14 Update

As you might have expected, the No Man’s Sky 2.14 update brings a wealth of bug fixes and other tweaks to the online game. This isn’t a massive patch by any stretch, but the changes are significant ones nonetheless. For some, these solutions will sort out much-requested fixes so you’ll want to know what those are.

The main one that this patch fixes is the one where encrypted missions would always give you the same reward. This wasn’t supposed to happen when these quests were introduced, but Hello Games has finally solved it. You should now get different rewards for every mission you complete, which is a big bonus for those who were holding out hope for this fix.

There are a number of fixes that help to make the UI run smoother too. The inventory sub-menu, for example, has been fixed so that you don’t suffer crashes or other issues when traversing this. Glyphs that were missing from the Portal input UI will now show up too, while the base power UI has had a fix for its incorrectly scaled UI element.

There are a few other bug solutions that Hello Games have patched through. We’ll list those in the full patch notes section below though for you to look at.
