You might be wondering, When can I pre-order PS5? Now that the PS5 launch date has been confirmed by Sony, gamers are surely wondering when they’ll be able to put their money down on the next-generation of PlayStation gaming. The PlayStation 5 console is definitely coming!
Details on what we can expect from Sony’s upcoming console are a little light, but we do know a few things about it. A new controller will be coming with some pretty sweet hardware innovations like haptic feedback. The hardware, of course, will also be more powerful than anything we’ve seen from a Sony console to date, letting us experience better graphics than we’ve ever seen before on a home console.

That leaves us with one remaining thing: when will you actually be able to pre-order the PlayStation 5?
When can I pre-order PS5? | When is the PS5 launch date?
At the moment, the PS5 was recently announced and we don’t have much in the way of useful details. What we do know, however, is that you aren’t going to be waiting a terribly long time to get your hands on one.
According to a PlayStation Europe blog, we can expect the PlayStation 5 to launch sometime during the holiday season of 2020. Typically, that means that it will be available to purchase in stores no later than late November or early December. This, of course, presumes that there aren’t any manufacturing problems in the time between the announcement and the planned launch of the console.
Since we know when the PS5 is going to be available in stores, all that remains is the answer to the question “When can I pre-order PS5?” To answer that, we can look back at its predecessor. PS4 pre-orders started opening up in June of 2013 and the console was later released in the United States in mid-November 2013. Since the newest console is following a similar timeline, I think we can expect to see PS5 pre-orders opening up no later than the end of June 2020.
