The Simpsons: Tapped Out Whacking Day FAQ

Longtime fans of The Simpsons TV show will recognize the latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out instantly. The newest content and event in your very own Springfield is centered around the events depicted in fourth season episode "Whacking Day." Pretty simple right?

Whacking Day invades your town with snakes. To begin this event, you need to complete the quest that requires Homer to go on a whacking spree and requires Lisa to do next week's homework. These are 24 tasks so as soon as they become available, assign them.

After that, you'll be able to enter Whacking Mode at will. Tap the snake in the top right corner of your screen and then tap on any snakes you see slithering around Springfield. Each snake you whack will either give you a snake to trade for prizes or an egg you can place in a friends town to help them with their snake-whacking totals.

Some of these eggs contain donuts, so be sure to be nice to your fellow Tapped Out friends until May 9th when the event ends. There are 10 prizes for whacking snakes, but try to earn them by trading in snakes. The more items you buy with donuts, the more expensive the prizes get.

Besides, if you're starting the Whacking Day event this early, you should probably have just enough time if you're dedicated and keep a close eye on your Springfield.
