Is the Wildlife Conservation Borderlands 3 Mission Glitched?

As stated above, people have been taking online to ask whether or not the Wildlife Conservation mission in Borderlands 3 is glitched. It turns out that it isn’t, but a part of it might be. In the mission, you are tasked with finding and collecting five explosives (dynamite). The trouble is, there is an item on a ledge that you can’t make it up to. You can see the image at the top of the support forum post linked to above. If you head to this ledge, however, you won’t find any dynamite waiting for you there.

Although the ledge itself seems almost impossible to reach, it isn’t important to the mission. All that’s up there is an ECHO Log. You can get up there, apparently, with Amara’s Downfall Ability, but you may end up getting stuck there. We’d recommend ignoring the ECHO Log on the ledge in the image linked to above. Hopefully, it’s fixed soon, however. All us completionists need to find and listen to every ECHO Log, so we need to be able to access this one, too.

Although the ledge talked about above may well be bugged/glitched, you should be able to complete the mission fine. All you need to do is find the five lots of explosives. Luckily for you, we’re here to tell you where you should be able to find all five explosives locations in the Wildlife Conservation mission in Borderlands 3. You’ll need to find all five of them for Brick, in Konrad’s Hold.

The five Borderlands 3 Wildlife Conservation explosives locations should be as follows:

  • To the right of the door near the start
  • In the northeast corner of the caves, in front of a partially opened door, hidden in front of a rock pillar of some sort
  • Behind a couple of barrels, overlooking the mine cart track opposite
  • On top of a box in the north of the caves, nearby a flaming metal barrel and shut metal door
  • The last explosive is leaning against a metal beam, which you’ll find after climbing over a few rocks which nearly fill an open door, leaving enough room for you to crouch through

The explosives shouldn’t be too difficult to locate, as they are big red collections of dynamite sticks. They should be highlighted, too, with a white outline. This should make them all stand out against the dim backdrop and lighting of Konrad’s Hold caves. Thankfully, too, the cave system isn’t too complicated and should be easily navigated. Head to the areas we’ve detailed above and you should find them easily enough.
