SimCity (2013) City Specialization: Drilling Reference Guide

City Specialization - Drilling Reference Guide

Look at the Oil data map to see whether or not your map has an abundance of oil available. If you wish to have drilling as your city specialization, definitely organize your city in such a way that the Oil Wells are over the places with the deepest oil deposits. Similar to the mining specialization, this drilling specialization requires a refinery, which in this case produces plastics and fuels that are important for Great Works. It also benefits from the Trade Depot/Trade Port and the Petroleum HQ.
