Gears 5 Terminator Skin | How to unlock the Terminator

There are a lot of interesting things to see in Gears 5, but perhaps one of the more interesting parts of the game is the Terminator skin. The Terminator Dark Fate DLC is a promotion that is featuring none other than the Terminator itself. Unfortunately, not everyone will be able to get the Terminator Gears 5 skin, but if you act fast, you’ll still be able to pick it up. Here is everything that you need to know about unlocking the Gears 5 Terminator skin. 

Gears 5 Terminator Skin | How to unlock the Terminator

There are two different ways to go about unlocking the Terminator skin in Gears 5. The first requires you to pre-order the game. If you reserved your copy early, then you’ll be given the Terminator DLC when it releases, along with the skin. However, what if you didn’t pre-order Gears 5? Is all hope lost?

Thankfully, the answer is no. However, if you want the Gears 5 Terminator skin, you’ll still need to act fast. If you’re a Game Pass subscriber, not only can you get Gears 5 as a part of your subscription, but you’ll also be able to get the Terminator Dark Fate DLC too, along with the skin. You won’t be able to cash in on this deal forever though, as you’ll need to download and play Gears 5 on Game Pass by September 16 to unlock the Terminator skin. If you don’t have Game Pass, there is currently a limited time deal that will give you two months of Game Pass for only $2.

If you cash in on either of the above methods, you’ll also receive a Sarah Connor skin as a bonus reward. Unfortunately, the Terminator Dark Fate DLC release date hasn’t been announced yet, so you’ll have to wait a bit to actually get the skin. However, the movie, Terminator: Dark Fate, will be releasing on November 1, 2019, so you can maybe expect the DLC to be released for everyone in accordance with the premiere of the movie.
