Minecraft Earth Beta Progress | Will my items and builds remain after the beta ends?

Minecraft Earth Beta Progress

There’s some confusion as to whether your Minecraft Earth beta progress will carry over into the full release. There have been plenty of other games where your beta progress have been kept, and others where the slate is wiped clean before the full game launches.

For Minecraft Earth, the latter is true. That’s right, your beta progress won’t carry over into the full release whenever that may be. We know this because the official Minecraft Earth FAQ page states as much. Mojang and Xbox Game Studios, the game’s developer and publisher respectively, revealed that everyone’s progress will be reset before the full game is released.

While the pair say that keeping players’ creations and collections is a “top priority,” the beta will undergo at least one wipe before the full game launches. That means your inventory, stats, and builds will disappear at some point.

Fear not, though: This won’t happen once the game is officially released in the future. Once it is, all of your items, buildings, and other progress will remain forever. Removing them from the beta will clear any glitches or bugs that the beta throws up, so it’s a safety-first approach from Mojang and Xbox Game Studios.
