Mario Kart Tour Nintendo Switch Release Date | Is it coming to Switch?

Mario Kart Tour Nintendo Switch

As stated above, Nintendo has revealed the Mario Kart Tour release date for both iOS and Android devices. Of course, plenty of you out there are wondering whether or not the latest Mario Kart game is on the Nintendo Switch as well as smartphones. As of writing, Mario Kart Tour is only confirmed for iOS and Android. There is no sign of a Mario Kart Tour Nintendo Switch version or release date.

This isn’t to say that a Nintendo Switch port of Mario Kart Tour will never happen, however. While Nintendo has confirmed that the game will be releasing on compatible iOS and Android devices soon, no word has been given on a potential Switch release. A Switch release of Mario Kart Tour could happen in the future.

Although a Mario Kart Tour Nintendo Switch port could happen in the future, we think it is a rather unlikely event. To date, none of Nintendo’s smartphone offerings have crossed the phone-console divide. It is entirely possible that Nintendo could port its phone games over to the Switch, but the company is yet to do so. We’re afraid that a Mario Kart Tour Switch version will likely never release. Cross those fingers and toes, however, and who knows what might happen. Just don’t expect it.
