Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic Pre-Order Guide

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Winds of Magic Pre-Order Guide

Ready to slay some foul creatures? Our Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Winds of Magic pre-order guide tells you everything you need to know about this upcoming DLC for Warhammer: Vermintide 2! A whole bunch of new content is coming in this DLC, although it’s going to come at a hefty price compared to the base cost of the game.

To start, a new enemy faction is being added in the game: Beastmen. These hybrids of man and beast willingly embrace Chaos and are all too happy to bring an end to the realm of Man. Fighting them will be all the more challenging thanks to the return of Cataclysm difficulty. What’s more, Cataclysm difficulty has been made even harder than before.

The level cap has been raised from Level 30 to Level 35 to accommodate the new content in this DLC. The higher level cap isn’t the only thing of note in our Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Winds of Magic pre-order guide, though — a new progression system introduces Weave Forged versions of all weapon types. There will be five new weapons in total, one for each hero:

  • Kerillian gets a shield and spear
  • Sienna gets a flaming flail
  • Bardin has new throwing axes
  • Saltzpyre gets a billhook
  • Kruber gets a heavy spear

The new “Dark Omens” level pits you against the newly-introduced Beastmen, and the new “Winds of Magic” game mode introduces a new set of challenges for players to overcome.

That’s a quick rundown of the new content to expect, but what do you get if you pre-order Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Winds of Magic?
