Wolfenstein Youngblood Flashlight | Can you add it to your gun?

Wolfenstein Youngblood can be quite dark at times both tonally and literally. Thankfully, there is a Wolfenstein Youngblood flashlight you can take advantage of. But there is not just one flashlight in Wolfenstein Youngblood. So here are all the ins and outs of the flashlights that you’ll need to take advantage of in order to make it through the darkest of the catacombs.

There is a Wolfenstein Youngblood flashlight that everyone has access to at the start. To turn on the flashlight, press right on the D-pad on console and press F on PC. That’s right. You can pay respects as you bring in the light, You can also press the button again to turn it off but keep this will keep the flashlight out. To fully switch out from the flashlight, you have to switch to another weapon, which is a little cumbersome.

Switching to the flashlight lets you see in the dark but it will also limit you to your one-handed weapons. It essentially hamstrings you with your pistol and machine pistol. So tread carefully while in the dark.

But there are ways to put a flashlight on some of your your guns in Wolfenstein Youngblood. But not every gun has the capability to do so. The same button will turn on the flashlight when you have that gun out. The following weapons have flashlight attachments:

  • Kugelgewehr (shotgun) (second category)
  • Laserkraftwerk (laser gun from Brother 1) (it’s on the the red dot sight in the second category)
  • Sturmgewehr (assault rifle) (it’s on the the red dot sight in the second category)

These will take a decent sum of Silver Coins to buy so be prepared to spend some cash first. To buy them, go to the weapon upgrade menu. Click on the appropriate gun and you’ll see the upgrade in the listed categories.
