Destiny 2 Hard Light

Destiny 2 Hard Light | How to get the Hard Light weapon

Destiny 2 has lots of great weapons that are available to players. Some are simply regular weapons that aren’t hard to come across, while others are Exotic and are not easy to come by. One of the latter weapons is the Destiny 2 Hard Light, which is an exotic weapon that first appeared in the original Destiny. As with most things of value, lots of players are wanting to get their hands on the Hard Light weapon. For that reason, we have put together a quick guide that will show you how to get the Hard Light weapon in Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Hard Light | Hard Light weapon location

Destiny 2 Hard Light

If you’re quick, you can get it from Xur as this week’s Xur had a Hard Light in stock. It’s 29 Legendary Shards. Hopefully, you get to this guide before it’s too late.

The Hard Light weapon is an exotic Auto Rifle that is capable of firing 600 rounds per minute. It also features a perk that allows fired rounds to ricochet off hard surfaces, overpenetrate targets, and has no damage falloff. On top of that, the Hard Light has a dual purpose stock, which can increase stability and handling speed. Needless to say, this weapon is a beast.

Unfortunately, there is no exact Hard Light weapon location per se. Instead, there are a couple of different ways that Destiny 2 players can acquire the Hard Light weapon. One way is through picking up Exotic Engrams, which can be acquired by completing missions and fighting in the Crucible, just to name a few.

The Hard Light weapon can also be acquired by obtaining Luminous Engrams, which players get by completing the weekly Milestones. As the earlier paragraph stated, the final way to get the Hard Light weapon is through Xur. The mysterious salesman travels around to a new location every week bringing with him new goods that players can buy for Legendary Shards. Maybe it will come back another week if you have missed it.
