Nintendo and Sanrio have today announced the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Sanrio Event. What is the Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Sanrio Event release date?
If you’re eager as a beaver to get some Sanrio character collection items into your Pocket Camp experience, we’ve got some good news for you. The Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Sanrio event release date is July 11, 2019. That’s when it all kicks off, at least. The Sanrio Characters Collection event will feature three collections in total, beginning with Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll on July 11.

The release dates of each collection are as follows:
- Collection one: Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll | July 11-July 22
- Collection two: Pompompurin and My Melody | Late July (hopefully, July 22 or 23) to early August
- Collection three: Little Twin Stars and Keroppi | Begins in early August
Unfortunately, Nintendo hasn’t yet detailed the full release dates for each of the Sanrio character collections.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Sanrio Event | How to unlock Hello Kitty items
During the first collection event, you will be able to unlock Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Hello Kitty items. Everyone, for example, will unlock a Hello Kitty bow for free just for logging into Pocket Camp during the event. This won’t be all, however.
During the Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll collection event (collection one), you will be able to take part in a Gyroidite Scavenger Hunt. This will let you create limited-time in-game Hello Kitty amenities as well as Sanrio character tees. If you take part in the Sanrio Characters Goals #1 event, too, you will be able to earn animal maps and Fortune Cookies as rewards. Sanrio Characters Craft Collection Fortune Cookies will be filled with cute Sanrio character rewards such as hats, dresses, sofas, and beds.
