The joy of creating something new in Super Mario Maker 2 and sharing it online for others to play is great, but can you carry levels over into Super Mario Maker 2 from the original game? We’re sure that plenty of you out there will have some favorite levels from the original Super Mario Maker that you’d wish to carry over to its sequel in order to play, update, or do whatever you want to it. Unfortunately, however, you cannot carry any Super Mario Maker 1 courses over to Super Mario Maker 2.
This means that you cannot export or transfer any stage from the original Mario Maker into its sequel. No matter how much you’d like to do so.
