Fortnite Drum Shotgun

Fortnite Drum Shotgun | Release date and stats

Well well well, a Fortnite Drum Shotgun has been discovered within the game’s files by those tenacious data miners. This variation seems like it’ll be a new favorite weapon for some of you, so you’ll be dying to know about its stats and release date. You’ll want to read our Fortnite Drum Shotgun guide to get the lowdown on those, so get cracking.

Fortnite Drum Shotgun | Release date

Fortnite Drum Shotgun

Let’s dive right into this Fortnite Drum Shotgun guide by having a look at its possible release date. Yes, as you probably guessed, there isn’t a definitive launch date for this weapon yet. It’s only just been found in the game’s code, so it isn’t even available to buy yet.

That said, we can have a go at guessing when it could be made available in-game. Epic Games don’t tend to wait long before they patch new things into the game properly once they’ve been discovered. With that in mind, we suspect that it will be a couple of weeks before we get our hands on this bad boy.

Fortnite Drum Shotgun | Stats

Fortnite Drum Shotgun

Normally, any leaked weapon comes with its stats being leaked ahead of time too. For the Fortnite Drum Shotgun, however, they haven’t. Data miners like Lucas7yoshi have posted images about what the gun looks like, but we have no idea how powerful it’ll be.

What we do know is how quickly it can be reloaded and the size of its ammo clip. According to Yanteh, the Drum Shotgun will be able to hold 12 shotgun pellets and will take 4.5 seconds to be reloaded.

The shotgun also looks like it’ll come in three rarity levels if the backgrounds on Lucas7yoshi’s tweet above are any indication. The weapon is shown against gray, blue, and green backgrounds, which could be a hint at how rare they could be to find. We’ll know for sure in the coming weeks.
