Right then, let’s take a deeper dive into the Fortnite search chests at a Hot Spot weekly challenge. There are three stages that you’ll need to complete in order to tick this task off your list. We’ve listed them below for convenience, and further down this page, you’ll find more on how to complete each sub-challenge.

Search Chests at a Hot Spot
For this sub-task, you’ll need to search three chests at a Hot Spot. It sounds simple enough, but you’ll have other players who will also be searching for chests within these areas. Be quick to land in a place with a golden name, and get rooting around for them. Doing so will net you three Battle Stars.
Search ammo boxes at a Hot Spot
Again, you’ll have to search three ammo boxes in a Hot Spot. These are harder to find as, unlike chests, they don’t give themselves away. You can find them dotted around buildings though, so find one on the outskirts of a Hot Spot and look for ammo boxes there.
You might be able to snag some from the Loot Carriers you see flying about, so try those if you can. Once this is complete, you’ll get three Battle Stars.
Eliminations at a Hot Spot
Finally, you’ll need to chalk up one elimination in a Hot Spot. If you’re a whizz at Fortnite, this one will be a doddle. This one will bag your four Battle Stars for your efforts.
