Warframe fans got a nice tease of Digital Extremes’ plans for the free-to-play action-adventure at E3, when they showed off some of the new features coming in the future, including Nekros Prime for free. Empyrean is the next big expansion pack for Warframe, and it will change the scope of the game forever. While previous expansions have added new zones and the sort, Empyrean is set to bring a feature that Warframe fans have been begging for for a long time; space battles. To celebrate the expansion’s reveal, and the upcoming TennoConn event in July, Digital Extremes has given players a way to get Nekros Prime free. This guide will tell you everything you need to know to score the Prime ‘frame for yourself.
Warframe | How to get Nekros Prime free
TennoConn kicks off next month, giving Warframe fans plenty to look forward to as Digital Extremes will no doubt be diving deeper into Empyrean and all the new content it is bringing. Players will be able to experience all of the action live via the official Warframe Twitch account where Digital Extremes will share all the main panels and TennoLive.
If you’re a fan Warframe, or just looking to get back into things after a nice hiatus, Empyrean is sure to add a lot to the experience. Players that tune into the TennoConn online festivities via Twitch will also be able to get Nekros Prime free, all via Twitch’s live drop service.
If you want to get Nekros Prime free, you’re going to need to ensure you’ve connected your Warframe account to your Twitch. You can do this by going to the official Warframe website and then logging in. When you’ve done that, head to your user profile and then link your Twitch account to your Warframe account. Doing this will allow you to receive drops during the TennoCon streams when they take place in July.
To get Nekros Prime free, though, you will need to tune into TennoLive on July 6 at around 6 PM Eastern (11 PM BST). With your accounts connected, you’ll be eligible to get Nekros Prime free, so long as you watch for at least 30 minutes. That shouldn’t be too hard to do if you’re a Warframe fan, as you’ll probably want to see what Digital Extremes has in the works anyway.
