At the Bethesda E3 2019 conference, the publishing giant revealed that Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC will be the game’s first paid expansion. Previously, not much was known about what the Rise of the Ghosts DLC, but thanks to E3 2019, fans have now learned new information about the new story, enemy faction, weapons, abilities, and more.

Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC Expansion | When is the release date?
The Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC will drop in-game sometime in August. Despite plugging it at E3 2019, Bethesda hasn’t revealed its official release date for the Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC. Since the games release just a few months ago, this is the first round of DLC that players are going to get their hands on.
There’s no word on how much this expansion will cost either. However, if you have pre-ordered the Deluxe or Collector’s editions of the game, you’ll get this DLC for free when it’s released.
Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC Expansion | Enemy faction
The Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC introduces a new enemy to this game, but they won’t be alien to you if you played Rage 1. Your new foe in this expansion will be the Ghost clan, who were the first enemies that you encountered in the previous title.
Naturally, there’s no word on how they’ll factor into Rage 2 as this would spoil the game’s storyline. It’s interesting that they won’t play a part in the game’s main plot though, and we’re intrigued to learn what they were up to while Rage 2‘s story played out.

As you’ve likely gathered, Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC will come with a host of other updates to keep the game fresh. New weapons, abilities, and vehicles will be patched in when the expansion goes live, but Bethesda is keeping its cards close to its chest over these.
