No one wants to walk across the vast open world of Rage 2, as it’d take forever and you’d get bored pretty quickly. This is where the huge number of different vehicles come in, with Walker (that’s you!) able to hop into any of the cars found during missions and while traversing the wasteland. To help you hunt down specific cars, here is our all Rage 2 vehicles locations guide. We’ve included the helicopter and monster truck, which are arguably the coolest machines around!
All Rage 2 Vehicles Locations
Phoenix
Combat Vehicle
The “Phoenix” – an armored, all-terrain recon vehicle, is the main combat vehicle of the Vineland Rangers. It’s fast, sturdy and well-optimized for rough conditions. The vehicle features linked, forward facing, auto-targeting machine guns as a standard armament.
Lily Prowley has fitted this Phoenix with her “Safe Mode” tech that protects critical systems and facilitates nanotrite repairs in the field. It’s easy to modify further, provided you have the rare parts needed.
Vehicle Location
Starter vehicle unlocked at the beginning of the game.
Raptor
Supercharged Bike
The “Raptor” was originally created to be a rapid dispatch vehicle for Ranger couriers. It’s sturdy and reliable but lacks weapons and offensive capabilities. Its main feature is its high speed, easily able to outrun anything in the Wasteland, along with responsive handling and slick feel.
Its compact and well-designed frame is notoriously difficult to customize or modify. Any add-ons tend to make it unbalanced and invariably leads to spectacular crash-outs.
Vehicle Location
Capture & Control Level 10
Icarus
Exploration Vehicle
The “Icarus” is a single seat Ark gyrocopter, mainly used for scouting sorties over rough terrain. It was designed for agility, not for combat, as it provides no cover for the pilot.
Another limiting factor is the complex rotors that are prone to overheating on higher attitudes. As a result, it was never popular among the embattled Rangers in the open Wasteland. Still, the possibility to fly anywhere is a powerful incentive to own one.
Vehicle Location
Search & Recover Level 7
Chazcar
Competitive Racing Car
Racing is one of the few things that unites people from all factions and alignments, so racing cars are commonly seen both on the tracks and on the roads.
Racing cars are built for only two things – speed and handling and are stripped to their bare bones. Fitted with 800 NM ft-lb torque feltrite engines to optimize acceleration, custom front and rear socks, and custom-valved bump stops, to deal with any high jumps.
Not recommended to enter combat with!
Vehicle Location
Chazcar Derby
Xerxes III
Authority Tank
The Xerxes III is a Predator-class Tank used by the Authority. It features heavy, ablative armor and a devastating Pulse Cannon that tears targets apart.
Often seen patrolling the Wasteland, spreading fear and establishing control for the Authority. The main weakness of the Xerxes III is its relative slowness, making hit-and-run tactics particularly efficient. Just don’t get caught out or you’re history.
Vehicle Location
Loosum Dagger Mission
Pulverizer
Immortal Shrouded Car
The “Pulverizer” is the lightest and most agile car in the Immortal Shrouded arsenal. The Pulverizer is mainly used as an interceptor or flexible rear guard to armored convoys. The Pulverizer’s highly advanced electrical weapons and efficient propulsion system make it a formidable foe, not to mention an explosive mine-dropping mechanism. It’s well protected for its size, but is vulnerable when using the dropping mechanism – especially to cruise missiles.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Devastator
Immortal Shrouded Tank
The “Devastator” is the main combat vehicle of the Immortal Shrouded. It’s sturdy, well-armed and deadly, but lacks speed and flexibility.
Usually deployed as an assault or guard vehicle in convoys, it’s equipped with advanced energy shields, that increased its defenses against small arms fire. During the automated re-arming sequence, weak spots are exposed that can be exploited by an opponent armed with cruise missiles
Vehicle Location

Wind Razor
Immortal Shrouded Bike
The “Wind Razor” is the Immortal Shrouded low riding speedster bike. It possesses a unique electrical generator which can produce chains of electricity within reach of other electrical sources. This means that teams of bikers usually work in tandem to harass larger vehicles and to attach from unexpected angles. In Shrouded Convoys, they are the first to harass and chase off nearby threats.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Rolla
Goon Squad Car
The “Rolla” is the lightest buggy in the Goon Squad arsenal. Goons with a suicidal lust for fire and speed often drive these vehicles with reckless abandon.
Usually seen hanging towards the back of a convoy, blocking the path of chasing vehicles by leaving trails of fire with napalm bombs. The bomb-dropping mechanism is especially weak against damage when open, making it a prime target for cruise missiles.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vhicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Booma
Goon Squad Tank
The “Booma” is the Heavy Tank of the Goon Squad, chasing down prey and guarding convoy leaders and locations. Usually crewed by the more level-headed killers, the Booma is a deadly threat with its main nuke cannon. It also features a seat for a gunner on the top, who can fire at threats at close range.
The tank is vulnerable to cruise missiles while reloading, since its weak spots are exposed.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Nippa
Goon Squad Bike
The “Nippa” is the Goon Squad Military bike. In Goon Convoys, they are the first to harass and chase off nearby threats. Against more determined foes they use weaponry in the hands of the riders to do as much damage as possible.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Monster Truck
River Hogs Monster Truck
Monster Trucks are a more recent invention of the River Hogs, based on ancient designs of combat cars from the mythical time before the Apocalypse. Naturally, these vehicles are built to inspire fear, but their high suspension and massive tires also make them useful in flooded marshlands.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Kola Kong Conquest
Civilian Car
The KK Conquest, a family-friendly saloon car from Kola Kong. Highly customizable in paint job and transport needs. As well as diesel, it can be run on Kola Kong. A true Wasteland workhorse!
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
BG Burger Storm Chaser

The Storm Chaser, slick as a greased BG Burger and equally popular! This wonderful piece of machinery is in high demand from couriers and trade barons alike. For people who want to travel with speed, comfort, and style!
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Dumper Truck
Civilian Wheel Dozer
The Unkillable Dumper Truck! Not even the apocalypse could destroy these magnificent vehicles. They are used everywhere for constructions, mining, corpse disposal, and other Wasteland pastimes. Slow yet powerful.
Vehicle Location
Initiate Extended Vehicles Project. Can be found in the Wasteland.
Loquacious Wanderer
Civilian Trader Van
The main type of trading or cargo hauling vehicle in the wasteland. The humble Hauler is what truly makes the Trade Coalition into the powerhouse it is.

Prelude to Greatness | PlayStation 4's 2019 Lineup
The frontrunner for much of the current generation, Sony is having a quieter year in 2019. While preparing for future plans and a possible new console, there's not a whole lot of God of War-tier stuff on the horizon. However, PS4 owners still have plenty of games to look forward to. -
Days Gone
Releasing on April 26, Days Gone is a long in development zombie adventure that has had a mixed reception so far. E3 showings have been underwhelming, but a recent round of previews brought some better thoughts. Here's hoping that this one will surprise gamers when it emerges. -
Death Stranding
As of right now, Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding is set for a 2019 release. While this probably isn't going to be the case, it's still something that PlayStation owners are greatly anticipating. Perhaps they'll anticipate it even more when they know what type of game it is. -
Dreams
Depending on who you are, it's possible you've already been playing Dreams for months. Media Molecules' creation tool will go into a more wide beta this year before patching in single player content in the fall. Considering that we first saw Dreams before the PS4 was out, it's been a long time coming. -
The Last of Us 2
The second chapter in Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic epic is also on the cards for a 2019 release as of now. We'll see more as the year goes on, but expect at least another trailer in case the game ends up on Sony's next console. -
MediEvil
This remake of the PlayStation 1 classic platformer has been hanging around since 2017, and it could pop up again any day now. Sir Dan was almost one of Sony's mascots back in the day, so only time will tell if gamers respond to him the same way in 2019. -
Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled
Moving on to third-party releases, long term PlayStation fans will be eagerly anticipating the return of their kart racer in a remastered state. Crash (and possibly Spyro) will be hopping back into karts for a spruced up grand prix that should retain what people loved about the original CTR. -
Psychonauts 2
Long in development and anticipated for even longer than that, the return of Double Fine's 3D platformer should be cause for celebration among fans. PS4 players, in particular, have already had a taste via the PSVR prequel, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin -
Rage 2
The surprising sequel to id Software's post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, Rage 2 depicts a very neon pink wasteland that players are eager to jump into. It seems like it won't take too much from the 2010 original, so every PS4 player can jump in fresh. -
Shenmue 3
Debuting on the Sony E3 stage several years ago, Shenmue is currently scheduled to return after a long hiatus in 2019. Will you play a game of lucky hit? How are the sailors involved? Is there gameplay this time? We all have to wait to find out. -
The Outer Worlds
Recently making waves due to its Epic Games Store exclusivity, The Outer Worlds is also hitting PlayStation 4 in 2019. Obsidian's stab at a Fallout-esque game in the vein of New Vegas, we're sure plenty of players are eager to try it out after Fallout 76's less than stellar debut.
