The Fortnite 2.19 update patch notes (Fortnite 8.51 today) have now been fully revealed by developer Epic Games. This new Fortnite patch adds the Shadow Bomb, bug fixes, and more. Fortnite 2.19 Update Patch Notes Highlights (Fortnite 8.51)
The main highlight of the Fortnite 2.19 update patch notes (Fortnite 8.51) is the Shadow Bomb. For both Battle Royale and Creative Mode players, this new item should be good fun to play with.
The Shadow Bomb allows players to shroud themselves in shadow, briefly becoming invisible to enemies. It lasts for a total of six seconds, and users become more visible towards the end of that six-second period. This new item also increased player movement speed, enables the ability to double jump, and also allows players to wall jump. It has been given the Uncommon rarity at its launch, meaning you’re quite likely to happen upon it during a match. Players can hold a maximum Shadow Bomb stack of six, and the item can be found in floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Supply Llamas.
Save the World mode players also have something new to try out, following the installation of the Fortnite 2.19 (8.51) update. The Duet weapon is a high damage assault rifle that will be available in the Weekly Store from May 1 at 8 PM ET until May 8 at 8 PM ET. The weapon’s strength is its lengthy sustained fire duration, which the large magazine capacity provides.
