With a heavy focus on melee combat, the Slasher class in World War Z is by far one of the more nuanced. Out of the six classes available, the various Slasher Skills are some of the most intriguing, often focusing on the player’s overall effectiveness against large swarms of zombies. In this guide we’ll discuss the best Slasher Skills available, as well as talk about some good builds for players to try out as they level up this class.

World War Z Best Slasher Builds
As stated above, the Slasher class is all about melee and taking out enemies that way. Because of this, many of the skills are based around increasing your melee effectiveness. Slasher Skills like Bloodlust allow you to increase firearm damage by 50% for 10 seconds after you kill special zombies with a melee weapon. This can be great for dealing with swarms as special zombies often try to sneak their way into the ranks.
Of course, you’ll also find some helpful Slasher Skills like Battle Cry, which allows you to stand up after being pinned for five seconds. This can greatly prolong your life, and in turn your team’s survival time, especially on harder difficulties. Finding the best build for your playstyle is all about experimenting, though. We highly suggest trying out various Slasher Skill combinations and building a setup that works best for you and your team.
