The Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 event has been unveiled by Niantic. The upcoming month’s Community Day, as always, has a featured Pokemon, an exclusive move, and a specific start time all trainers will want to be aware of. Find out everything worth knowing about the Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 event with our help.
Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 | Start time
The Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 event date has been confirmed for Sunday, May 19. As with previous monthly Community Days, the start time for this is penciled in for 3 PM local time. This means that, no matter where you live, this time will kick proceedings off. You don’t need to worry about time zone conversions here.
The event will run for three hours and therefore end at 6 PM. Make sure you’re in place for it at 3 PM then, so you don’t miss out.
Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 | Featured Pokemon
The Pokemon Go Community Day May 2019 event will see Fire-type Pokemon Torchic featured in-game, so be on the lookout for this fiery individual on your travels during the afternoon.
As always, there will be certain bonuses available to help you try and catch plenty of Torchic critters when you’re out and about. Three-hour lures will ensure that Torchic is never far away from your current location. On top of that, you’ll earn three times as much Stardust for each one you capture too. You’ll need as much Stardust as possible to Power Up and evolve Torchic into Combusken, so get catching the former to earn that Stardust.
