Many are seeing that they can’t buy Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PlayStation Store in the US. Where is Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PlayStation Store?
For those of you outside the US, you’ll be able to find Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PlayStation Store pretty darn easily. Just head to the PSN store and search “Assassin” and Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will be the first option you see on the right-hand corner of the screen.
If you’re looking for it on the US PlayStation Store, however, you’re flat out of luck. Be it locked by a region-specific time (though that’s unlikely) or a mix-up elsewhere, there is currently no way to download Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PSN in the US as of writing. If you go the game’s store page, the button to add to cart/buy the title will be missing entirely.
Indeed, Ubisoft has released a statement on its forum saying that, “We’re aware of an issue currently affecting availability of Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PlayStation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check this thread for future updates.”
No Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered on PlayStation Store Fix
Thankfully, there’s a bit of a workaround, just so long as you have an active EU/UK PSN account handy on your Primary PS4. If you do so, and have added the profile as a user on your console, log out of your US PSN profile and sign in to the EU/UK one.
If you haven’t got another PSN account, you can create one here, but you’ll need a European address and, potentially, email to get it working
From here, go to the PlayStation Store and type in “Assassin” in the search menu to find the game. You can purchase from here, though I’d recommend using PayPal in case your bank will charge you for purchasing in a foreign currency. Then, download it and return to your main profile. You can then play Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered from here, no sweat.
