Well, if you don’t, no worries. The rules of the game are pretty simple: Avoid the floor at all cost. If you touch the floor, you get burned alive in the lava. Of course, Fortnite has put its own twist on the game for the new LTM. It seems that a volcano has erupted, causing lava to flow uncontrollably over the island. You must run, jump, and build to safety to avoid meeting a fiery fate. No official release date has been given yet for The Floor is Lava LTM, so it is hard to say exactly when it will be here. However, since the announcement has appeared in the in-game “News” screen, it’s safe to imagine that it’ll show up pretty soon. Additionally, an Epic employee posted preview notes on Reddit for the v8.20 patch notes two days ago, so it’s possible the new game mode will be pushed out with that update.
