Vampire Bloodlines 2 Release Date | When does Vampire The Masquerade 2 release?

It had been teased for a long time, but yesterday Paradox Interactive at last revealed Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, the sequel to the Activision RPG from 2004 that’s best described as “Deus Ex with vampires.” The new game seems to follow a similar vein, as a first-person “immersive sim” RPG similar to Deus Ex, but the most important question is, when is the Vampire Bloodlines 2 release date? We’ve got the answer.

What is the Vampire Bloodlines 2 release date?

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is set to launch in 2021.

What is Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2?

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is an “immersive sim” in the style of Deus Ex, Prey, or Dishonored, and is based on the World of Darkness Vampire The Masquerade card game RPG series. It’s the sequel to 2004’s Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines, a choice-based first-person RPG in the style of Deus Ex. That was developed by Troika, a developer made up of ex-Obsidian and Black Isle staff, but didn’t do well because it released on the same day as Half-Life 2 and was infested with bugs.

Nevertheless, the writing and player choices made it beloved by the community, so it’s good that Bloodlines‘ main story writer Brian Mitsoda is returning for the sequel. Once again, players will be able to eventually join one of the main vampire clans, and this time explore the blood-soaked streets of Seattle. We’ll know more as we get closer to release.
