Apex Legends The Player achievement not unlocking | Is there a fix?

While Apex Legends has been out for a little while now on Xbox One, PC, and PS4, players are still reporting a multitude of different bugs. One such bug has the Apex Legends The Player achievement not unlocking. Read on to discover what the Apex Legends Level 50 Achievement is, why it isn’t working, and how to fix it. You don’t want to leave Apex Legends unfinished, do you?

What is the Apex Legends The Player achievement not unlocking glitch?

Apex Legends The Player Achievement Not Unlocking

Apex Legends, as like every modern game, features many unlockable achievements and trophies. On all available platforms, you can earn The Player achievement simply by reaching Level 50 in Apex Legends. Obviously, reaching Level 50 will take a solid amount of time. Therefore, it is understandable that people have been finding it annoying that they aren’t receiving the trophy for the achievement as they should. It means you can’t get 100 percent of all the game’s trophies.

A quick look through the official EA Support forums for Apex Legends shows that many people are having the same issue. It seems the game is often crashing for players about to hit Level 50. This, therefore, doesn’t show you the Level up screen. Especially if you disconnect from the match in order to join a friend’s game or something similar. After the game crashes, players have been logging back in to see that they have reached Level 50, but the achievement hasn’t been unlocked. Talk about annoying. What’s more, leveling up past Level 50 won’t unlock the achievement, either.

Apex Legends The Player Achievement Not Unlocking

Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a fix for this particular bug. We would recommend, however, not to disconnect from a match when you are Level 49. You may well rise up to Level 50 during this match, and it appears this, at least, will stop you from earning The Player achievement. If a friend wants to play some Apex Legends with you, tell them to wait until after you have reached Level 50.

Random crashes, however, are a different issue. Read our guide on Apex Legends random crashes to find a fix for those. Don’t exploit the experience glitch, either, as this will likely stop you from unlocking the Achievement.

For now, though, hope EA or Respawn fixes the issue via a patch soon. Hopefully, those of you who missed out on the achievement once reaching Level 50 and beyond will receive it in due time.
