Fallout 76 1.07 update

Fallout 76 1.07 update patch notes

The Fallout 76 1.07 update is here. Otherwise known as the Fallout 76 1.07 update when it arrives on PS4 and Xbox One next week, the Fallout 76 update today showcases several stability and performance fixes, the long-awaited lever rifle bug fix, and the removal of the duplicating item glitch. It’s all here in the Fallout 76 1.07 update patch notes/Fallout 76 update today January 10 patch notes.

Fallout 76 1.07 update (January 10) – Performance fixes

A new update, same old performance fixes. Bethesda has promised “increased performance” as well as specific fixes when it comes to freezing while using the Pip Boy as well as removing the infinite load glitch on PC.

Fallout 76 1.07 update (January 10) – Quests

The quests “Line in the Sand,” “Recruitment Blues,” and “Second Helpings” were previously broken or had quest-breaking bugs that players struggled to overcome. They’ve all (thankfully) been eradicated.

Fallout 76 1.07 update (January 10) – Lever rifle fix

Goodness gracious me. This has taken a while, huh? The lever rifle has had a glitch involving the incorrect animation playing every time you reloading the gun. No matter how many bullets you needed in the chamber, it’d always show up as your player putting five in. It’s been a problem since Fallout 4 but, mercifully, it’s gone now.

Fallout 76 1.07 update (January 10) – Duplicating items

One of players’ favorite glitch exploits was the duplicating item glitch that plagued the wastes. Players will no longer be able to double up on gear, weapon, and armor with this method, so you’ll have to go back to surviving in West Virginia like a good, honest soul. That is, until the game invariably breaks again.

Fallout 76 1.07 update (January 10) – Other bug fixes

This being a new Fallout 76 update, especially one just after the winter break that’s been worked on for a month, there’s a veritable laundry list of bug fixes. While they’re almost too numerous to mention, here are some of the most eye-catching:

  • Fusion cores won’t refill if you change servers
  • Legendary hunting rifles can now drop as loot
  • Looting a player-owned container now counts as a hostile PvP act
  • Hardened Mass will not be scrapped if you press “Scrap All Junk”
  • All armor level 25 and above now requires ballistic fibre
