Resident Evil 2 Remake Samurai Edge DLC – How to Get

We’re not too far off the much-anticipated Resident Evil 2 Remake on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As is the norm with modern games, there are several different pre-order options out there for the game, some of which include the Resident Evil 2 Remake Samurai Edge DLC. Plenty of you are wondering how to get the Resident Evil 2 Remake Samurai Edge DLC. Read on to find out.

Resident Evil 2 Remake Samurai Edge DLC – What is it?

The Samurai Edge deluxe weapons are a series of customized Beretta 92F handguns that can be found and used in the Resident Evil games. There are three Samurai Edge weapons in the Resident Evil 2 Remake, but, unfortunately, they are accessible only via pre-order as of writing. Typically, the Samurai Edge handguns are improved on the standard pistols you’ll find in the game.  Each gun is modeled for a specific character but features the S.T.A.R.S. logo and medallion.

Resident Evil 2 Remake Samurai Edge DLC – How to Get

As stated above, the only way of getting hold of the Samurai Edge DLC is through pre-ordering the Resident Evil 2 Remake. If you pre-order the standard edition of the game (digital or physical), you will receive product codes for the Samurai Edge (Chris Model) and the Samurai Edge (Jill Model). This is true for each platform, yet it is not known whether you get the pistols from the beginning of the game or at a pre-determined point in the story.

If you pre-order the digital deluxe or physical deluxe edition of the game (or the Collector’s Edition), however, you will receive an extra Samurai Edge handgun. You will also get the Albert Wesker Samurai Edge. This will be part of the Extra DLC Pack.

Right now, the only known way of getting hold of the Samurai Edge DLC in the Resident Evil 2 Remake is through pre-ordering. The deluxe weapons may become available as paid add-ons later on down the line, however.
