Borderlands 2 VR is out now on PlayStation VR. The game is the full version of the original Borderlands 2 playable entirely in VR, including Borderlands 2 VR Golden Keys. Borderlands 2 VR Golden Keys – What Do They Do?
Golden Keys are used in Borderlands 2 VR to open the Golden Chest. Opening up this special Golden Chest will reward you with a randomized selection of Purple Weapons, Shields, Grenade Mods, Class Mods, E-Tech Weapons, and Blue and Purple Relics. Once you have collected everything from the Golden Chest harvest, it will close, waiting for another Golden Key. The Golden Chest can be found in Sanctuary.
To get hold of a Golden Key, however, you will need to input a Shift Code into the game’s main menu. There are only a few places where you can find Shift Codes for Golden Keys, however.
Borderlands 2 VR Golden Keys – Where to Find Shift Codes
While you won’t find Shift Codes while playing through Borderlands 2 VR, there are plenty of places you can look to find some. Better yet, any Golden Keys that you didn’t use back in the day (make sure you’re using the same account as you did when you first played Borderlands 2) will reportedly carry over to the VR edition of Borderlands 2.
