Battlefield 5 Tiger Tank Skin Unlock Bug – Is There a Fix?

Battlefield 5 players have found a glitch in the game’s latest update that is preventing them from accessing a specific tank skin. The Battlefield 5 Tiger tank skin unlock bug should be given to players after they perform certain tasks, but it isn’t unlocking for everyone. Is there a Battlefield 5 Tiger tank skin unlock bug fix to solve the issue?

What is the Battlefield 5 Tiger Tank Skin?

Battlefield 5 received its first post-launch update with the Chapter 1: Overture DLC pack earlier in December. The free update for all players – the first in the game’s Tides of War expansion – rewards players with a special tank skin if they complete “The Last Tiger” story that is part of the Overture DLC update.

Players are tasked with recovering six letters in the second portion of the DLC’s campaign, and completing all challenges present in story mode too, to unlock a special multiplayer tank skin i.e. the Battlefield 5 Tiger tank skin.

However, not everyone is having the chance to customise their tanks with it. Players have taken to the Battlefield 5 Reddit page to claim that, despite getting all letters and completing all challenges, they aren’t getting the skin. This was backed up by other gamers on the official Battlefield 5 forums, so have EA DICE prepared a fix for this problem or not?

Is There a Battlefield 5 Tiger Tank Skin Unlock Bug Fix?

There isn’t a Battlefield 5 Tiger tank skin unlock bug fix just yet. EA DICE have, however, reported to their fans – via this bugs list thread on Reddit – that they are investigating the issue. Hopefully there will be a patch made available as soon as possible, and all players will be given the tank skin as reward for completing the above challenges. Once the fix goes live, we’ll update this page to let you know.
