Lots of aspiring trainers online have been actively searching for the Pokemon Let’s Go Dratini location. Usually purchased with coins in the Celadon Game Corner, catching Dratini in Pokemon Let’s Go involves venturing into uncharted territory, as the lack of a Pokemon Let’s Go Coin Case complicates the old way of obtaining Dratini. Of course, Dratini’s last evolution is the powerful pseudo-Legendary Pokemon Dragonite, so getting a Dratini early on can make the game a whole lot easier for players. Here’s a guide on where to find Dratini in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.
Where to Find Dratini Location in Pokemon Let’s Go
The Pokemon Let’s Go Dratini location obviously isn’t the Celadon Game Corner, but where is it? Well, it seems that players can actually encounter Dratini in the wild, but only in a single location: Route 10.
Route 10 is located to the east of Cerulean City. After learning the Chop Down technique and defeating Lt. Surge in Vermilion City, the player will need to go to Route 10 in order to access the Rock Tunnel. The Rock Tunnel is the infamous Kantonian area that links Route 10 to the tiny route above Lavender Town, which is the next area players need to go in order for the story to progress.
However, you can’t catch Dratini just yet. Later in the game, around the time you’re going for your fifth Gym badge, you’ll be in Fuchsia City. To the north is the GO Park, which is where you can import Pokemon from Pokemon Go into Pokemon Let’s Go. However, to the west of the GO Park is a trainer with his beloved Lapras.
Talk to him and he’ll teach you the Secret Technique known as Sea-Skim. You should already have gotten Sky Dash from the man in Celadon City with the balloons at this point, so fly back to the Pokemon Center on Route 10 and go to the north of the Pokemon Center. Here, you can surf along a narrow canal down to the Power Plant. Don’t go in yet, as this is the home of the Legendary Bird Zapdos, who is a powerful Pokemon that you should attempt to catch only when you’re sure that you’re ready. Instead, just surf along the canal, as this is the only known Pokemon Let’s Go Dratini location in the game.
Dratini evolves into Dragonair at Level 30, which evolves into Dragonite at Level 55. Catch a Dratini early in the game and you might just have the latter in time for your first Elite Four run!
