Pokemon Go GPS Not Found 11 – How to Fix

Several Pokemon Go players have reported a Pokemon Go GPS not found 11 error that is preventing players from playing Niantic’s game on both Android and iPhone. As the error prevents the game from accessing the phone’s GPS, Pokemon Go players are unable to spin PokeStops, battle Gyms, and catch Pokemon once the error kicks in. However, there is a solution. Here’s a guide on how to fix the Pokemon Go GPS not found 11 error on Android and iPhone.

How to Fix the Pokemon Go GPS Not Found 11 error

Although the Pokemon Go GPS not found 11 error has been ruining people’s experiences ever since the game launched, there is a foolproof solution that completely rectifies it. All you need to do is adhere to the following simple steps:

  • Open Pokemon Go on Android or iPhone.
  • Turn your GPS to its low accuracy setting. If there is none, just turn it off completely.
  • Open Google Maps, but keep Pokemon Go running in the background. Do not close Pokemon Go or this won’t work.
  • Select the button in maps that locates you and homes in on that location.
  • If GPS is off or set to low accuracy, which it should be as its mentioned above, you’ll receive a prompt to activate high accuracy GPS. Select yes.
  • Go to your Pokemon Go tab. The Pokemon Go GPS not found 11 error will have disappeared.

It seems that although high accuracy settings can be enabled in the phone’s GPS settings, high accuracy must be specifically activated while in Google Maps in order for Pokemon Go to function correctly. Otherwise, you’ll continue to get Pokemon Go GPS not found 11 errors, which will make the game unplayable for you.

Again, if you can’t find a low accuracy setting, just turn GPS off and go to Google Maps anyway. It will have the same effect once you follow the other steps correctly.
