Fallout 76 Atomic Shop – Real World Money Shop Details

Fallout 76 will have a real world money shop called the Atomic Shop. The Fallout 76 Atomic Shop will be available from the game’s launch on November 14. The shop will have weapon and armor skins, emotes, camp decor, and more.

Bethesda Game Studios detailed the shop, and how it works in a blog post. The developer made clear that the Atomic Shop does not offer anything that grants players a competitive advantage.

Fallout 76 Atomic Shop – How to Access The Shop and Earning Atoms

To access the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76 you need to have exited Vault 76 at the beginning of the game. After leaving the Vault, the Atomic Shop will be accessible from the game’s main menu.

Atoms are Fallout 76‘s premium currency. They can be purchased using real world money, or earned in-game by completing challenges. Challenges are a subset of goals and objectives that net players a small chunk of Atoms upon completion. Challenges are categorized by daily, weekly, character, survival, combat, social, and world. Atom rewards range between 10 and 80 for the challenges seen in Bethesda’s post.

The Atomic Shop will be account-wide, so any purchases made on one character will transfer to others.

Within the shop are a number of categories including apparel, skins, C.A.M.P., styles, photo mode, emotes, and icons. Bethesda plans to continually update the shop with new items over the game’s life cycle. Items like Vault 76 baseball caps and blue paint for your Pip-Boy were shown alongside emotes and photo mode borders.

Bethesda has yet to detail a pricing structure for Atoms, although beta players were earning a few hundred from challenges. Items in the Atomic Shop range from 50 Atoms up to at least 700.

The Fallout 76 shop will bring more money to Bethesda’s pockets, and keep larger content updates for the game free. The Atomic Shop will launch alongside Fallout 76 when the game releases.
