Red Dead Redemption 2 Pocket Watch – How to View

It’s easy to become overwhelmed with all of the Red Dead Redemption 2 items you have. One item which comes in particularly handy is the Red Dead Redemption 2 pocket watch. Of course, you can view the time whenever you want by loading up the in-game menu. What if you want to see it in real-time and in-person though? Here’s how to view your pocket watch in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Pocket Watch – How to View it

Viewing your own pocket watch is really simple. The first thing that you’ll want to do is open up your weapons and items wheel. Press and hold down on the LB or L1 buttons on your Xbox One or PS4 controller respectively. From there, you’ll want to point your cursor in the three o’clock position on the wheel, so you have the binoculars option highlighted.

Cycle through your items using the LT/RT or L2/R2 triggers until you come across the pocket watch option. Let go of LB or L1 to use it. This will enter you into first-person mode as Arthur checks the time on his equipped watch.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Pocket Watch – How to Equip a Different Watch

If you aren’t enamored with the watch you have equipped, you can always change it for another. To do this, you’ll want to open up your satchel by pressing the “right” direction on your controller’s D-pad. From here, you can navigate the sub-menus by using the LT/RT or L2/R2 triggers on Xbox One or PS4 respectively. You’ll need to find the “kit” menu, which is third from the right.

From there, you can open up the “watches” sub-menu. You can open it, and select what watch – if you have more than one – to equip. If all of this is too much fuss, however, you can just push the “Start” button on your controller to bring up the game’s menu, and see the time from there.
