Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 – Sinnoh Ghost Pokemon

Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 is due to launch soon, although Niantic has yet to make an official statement. Last week saw the addition of the first 26 Gen 4 Pokemon to Pokemon Go, but the game’s developer has gone silent since. However, last year saw Pokemon Go‘s Halloween event coincide with the release of Gen 3 Ghost-type Pokemon, and Professor Willow has already notified players that they should be expecting a surge in Ghost activity with Halloween just around the corner.

Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 – Sinnoh Ghost Pokemon

This time last year, Pokemon Go‘s Halloween event was already in full swing. Alongside the festivities was the addition of several Gen 3 Ghost-type Pokemon: Sableye, Shuppet, Banette, Duskull, and Dusclops.

Although Halloween is just over a week away, Pokemon Go will almost definitely feature another Halloween event. Given that last week saw the first wave of Gen 4 Pokemon being introduced to the game, it seems highly likely that Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 will consist of a range of Gen 4 Ghost-types. The Ghost Pokemon from Generation 4 are as follows:

  • Rotom
  • Drifloon
  • Drifblim
  • Froslass
  • Mismagius
  • Dusknoir
  • Spiritomb

Although the Sinnoh region was home to 107 brand new Pokemon when Gen 4 was released, additions to Pokemon Go will come in waves. Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 1 added the following Pokemon to Niantic’s popular game:

  • Turtwig
  • Grotle
  • Torterra
  • Chimchar
  • Monferno
  • Infernape
  • Piplup
  • Prinplup
  • Empoleon
  • Starly
  • Staravia
  • Staraptor
  • Bidoof
  • Bibarel
  • Kricketot
  • Kricketune
  • Shinx
  • Luxio
  • Luxray
  • Pachirisu
  • Chatot
  • Buneary
  • Lopunny
  • Riolu
  • Lucario
  • Carnivine

It is not yet confirmed that Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 will coincide with the Halloween event. However, given the details of last year’s event, combined with the fact that Gen 4 Wave 1 added the first 26 Sinnoh Pokemon just last week, it seems highly likely that Pokemon Go Gen 4 Wave 2 is just around the corner. Trainers should prepare to catch their favorite Gen 4 Ghost-types!
