One of the more time-consuming Season 6 Week 3 objective is the Fortnite Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match challenge. This is a “Stage Challenge,” meaning it has multiple parts that need to be completed in order to earn the entire reward. As you will learn when using this guide, this new Fortnite challenge will take at least five matches to complete, as it tasks players with moving great distances about the map, which is very difficult to do with enemy players and the zone working against you. Read on for our full guide on the Fortnite Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match challenge, as well as the other stages.
Fortnite Stage 1 Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match Guide
With this being very similar to the “Visit the centre of the named locations” challenge from July’s season 5 challenge, it’s clear that the first stage is one you’re going to have to be very clever about. With the two locations of Risky Reels and Wailing Woods being in close proximity to each other, it’s not too difficult but, still, plan ahead.
Your best bet might be to go into Wailing Woods, make sure the notification has hit for you “visiting” that location and, then, chuck up a Rift-to-Go if you have one handy and fly on over to Risky Reels in the north. Land there, and you’re golden and can move on to stage 2 in the next match. Remember, for all of these stages, you can visit either location in any order but it must be within the same match.
Fortnite Stage 2 Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match Guide
The Stage 2 portion of the challenge tasks you with having to Visit Dusty Divot and Paradise Palms in a Single Match. It’s a little tougher, too. A good solution would be for you to get Paradise Palms out of the way first, due to Dusty Divot’s location, which is packed in tight with the likes of Retail Row. From there, head north-west, make your way around (not through) the Corrupted Areas and Retail Row and through to Dusty Divot.
Fortnite Stage 3 Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match Guide
Next, you’re going to have to overcome Stage 3: Visit Greasy Grove and Leaky Lake in a Single Match. The key to not getting killed en route with this one might be to swerve Tilted Towers completely. In fact, the entire area south-east is ripe for a quick getaway, should it be required. Plus, don’t forget Leaky Lake is the former Loot Lake, so just get yourself over to that to complete this stage of the challenge.
Fortnite Stage 4 Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match Guide
Ever wanted to Visit Lucky Landing and Tilted Towers in a single match? Well, you’re in, uhh, luck. There’s every chance the storm might not fall kindly for you here, so polishing off Lucky Landing before moving north to Tilted Towers is the recommended course of action. Again, avoid over-populated areas filled with loot and nasty, nasty people.
Fortnite Stage 5 Visit Risky Reels and Wailing Woods In a Single Match Guide
Phew. Nearly there. To complete this marathon of a challenge, you’ll need to do Stage 5: Visit Snobby Shores and Salty Springs in a single match. This one is quite a trek, to put it mildly.
Heading to Snobby Shores before the more centralized location of Salty Springs wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world, especially if the storm circle takes you nowhere near the Western reaches of the map. Salty Springs will also be safer due to things dying down (literally) in the minutes after the game starts and everyone lands in a mad rush to collect loot and weapons, as well as trying to complete this challenge.
