The Destiny 2 Forsaken Challenge: The Shattered is a daily bounty being offered to players by Petra Venj. When you speak with Petra in the Dreaming City, you’ll find she offers up a bounty called Challenge: The Shattered. When you accept you get the objective, “Toland Located.” Awkward wording aside, this basically means you need to find Toland. Here’s what you need to know to find Toland and complete Challenge: The Shattered in Destiny 2.
How to Find Toland in Challenge: The Shattered in Destiny 2 Forsaken
To start with you need to actually take on the Challenge: The Shattered bounty. Fast travel to The Dreaming City and head over to Petra Venj. Grab the bounty from her inventory, and you can get on to the hard part. The challenge card will give you a small hint as to what you have to do to find Toland, but it’s not much help. You do know that you need to enter the Ascendant Plane, though, so let us start there.
To find Toland, you’ll need to complete the same steps that you do to access the weekly Ascendant Challenge. This week this can be accomplished by heading to the northwest part of The Dreaming City region and using a Tincture of Queensfoil. Be aware, though, that the location you need to head to to open the portal to the Ascendant Realm is different each week.
If you’ve spent some time in The Dreaming City, you’ll likely have a spare Tincture of Queensfoil. If you don’t, they’re not hard to get. You can acquire one by completing Petra’s other bounties or taking part in events and challenges in the region.
Once you’ve come to the point marked on the map above, open your inventory and use the Tincture and you’ll be transported to the Ascendant Plane. Toland the Warlock should look familiar when you see him. He’s the little ball of light you saw near the end of Destiny 2 Forsaken’s campaign.
Talk to Toland, and you’ll complete the Toland Located objective. Once you do that you can enter your inventory and turn in your bounty.
