Pokemon Lets Go Import Pokemon: How To Import Pokemon From Pokemon GO!

The information on how to import Pokemon from Pokemon Go was shared in a recent YouTube video posted by the official Pokemon YouTube channel. The video introduces the upcoming games’ “GO Parks” feature, which enable players to connect the device their Pokemon GO! account is registered to with their Nintendo Switch.

At the moment, only Kanto Pokemon can be imported, which makes perfect sense given that Pokemon: Let’s Go is based on Ash’s original adventures. However, Alolan forms of Kanto Pokemon, such as Alolan Ninetales and Alolan Muk, can also be imported, which is a nice touch.

Go Parks will also feature a mini-game that the player can play in order to earn some extra candies. In this mini-game, the trainer seems to be trying to herd as many Pikachu as possible through a field that is being attacked by Ground-type Pokemon. The more Pikachu you successfully herd into the Park’s center. the more candies you’ll be rewarded with.

Candies and battling can both be used in order to increase the level of your Pokemon. You can also release Pokemon you’ve caught in exchange for candies. All of this together implies that candies will be far easier to obtain in the Let’s Go games than they are in Pokemon Go.

The video also shows that Legendary Pokemon can be caught if they are defeated in battle, and that Mew can be obtained from the Poké Ball Plus.

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are set to release on the Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018.
