Fortnite Halloween Costumes: Is the Skull Trooper Coming Back?

We’re only about a month away from the spookiest time of the year, Halloween. That’s when a lot of scary-themed stuff gets released and that applies to Fortnite as well. What could Epic Games add to the battle royale game next month? Perhaps we’ll witness the return of the Skull Trooper skin, or maybe even some brand new Fortnite Halloween costumes.

Fortnite Halloween Costumes: What is the Skull Trooper Skin?

The Skull Trooper Jonesy skin was initially released as part of the Fortnitemares Update, which was a Save the World event introduced in the Fortnite 1.8 patch. It became available alongside other Fortnite Halloween costumes like the Catstructor Penny skin, Sarah Hotep skin, and more. The Skull Trooper skin looks like a black military costume with a white skeleton painted over it. It was an Epic skin, as well as a weekly item for Halloween.

When it was originally available in the Fortnite Item Shop, the Fortnite Skull Trooper skin sold for a price of 1200 V-Bucks. At the time of writing, Epic Games has not officially announced if the Skull Trooper would be coming back to the battle royale game. However, there have been many occasions in the past when Epic Games has been very receptive to the game’s community. If it seems like the community wants the Skull Trooper skin to return, then it probably will, particularly around Halloween time.

If the Skull Trooper skin is making a comeback anytime soon, it will be very soon. Halloween will be arriving at the end of next month, so that would be the most likely time for the Skull Trooper Jonesy skin to start becoming available again. It could also be possible that Epic Games is gearing for another Fortnitemares-like event in the near future. As of now, we’ll have to wait for anything official from the folks over there.
