Fortnite Diamond Skin: How to Get the Fortnite Jewel Skin

There could be a Fortnite Diamond skin coming soon. At least, that’s what some Fortnite players are reporting and showing off online. It looks great on some skins, adding a certain shiny quality to them, even if there’s a puzzling reason behind the look. Read on below to find out what the Fortnite Jewel skin is, and how to get it.

Fortnite Diamond Skin: What is the Fortnite Jewel Skin?

Users like @CrossLeaks on Twitter have reportedly claimed that the Fortnite Diamond skin is not a real cosmetic skin in the battle royale game. Instead, it is supposedly a glitch. There could probably be some truth in that, seeing as most of these players are dataminers. They might have messed with the in-game data files a bit too many times, resulting in an unforeseen glitch in the system. This glitch manifests itself as the Fortnite Diamond skin in question, as it’s not only limited to one skin.

The Fortnite Jewel skin can be seen covering many other skins in the game, including the Fortnite Wild Card skins and more. Interestingly, the texture of the Diamond skin looks curiously similar to that of the Jewel Illama in the new Fortnite Getaway LTM. We still have no idea what this could mean. Take a look at the Fortnite Diamond skin performing various emotes below.

Fortnite Diamond Skin: How to Get the Fortnite Jewel Skin

Unfortunately for Fortnite players, the Diamond skin remains unattainable for now. This is due to the fact that it a just a glitch, and not a real Fortnite skin. However, there have been many times in the past when developer Epic Games has been very receptive to the game’s community and activity. If it seems like the community wants a Jewel skin, then it might very well become a reality in the future. Despite that, it’s still better to wait for official confirmation from the folks at Epic Games.
