Bloodborne PC: How to Play Bloodborne on PC With PlayStation Now

Bloodborne is one of the biggest PS4-exclusive games. It was published by Sony and developed by From Software, the creators of the Dark Souls series and the upcoming Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It shouldn’t come to any other platform, but now Bloodborne PC is a reality. You can play the game on PC for the first time using PlayStation Now, but what is that? How can you use this service to play the Bloodborne PC version? We’ll show you everything you need.

How to Play Bloodborne PC Through PlayStation Now

First you’ll need a PSN account, which you can sign up for or sign into here. Then you have to download the PlayStation Now app, run the installer, and sign in to that PSN account on the app itself. Then there’s just one more important step: paying for it. You’ll have to set up a credit card, or add credit to your PSN account. There is good news if you just want to try it first, as there’s a one-month free trial which you’ll automatically get signed up for.

Then with all that sorted, simply find Bloodborne (or indeed, any other game on the service) through the app, start it, and play it! You’ll need a gamepad of some sort, but you do not need a Sony pad. Any pad, including Xbox pads, will work with PlayStation Now on PC. However, the games will display with PS4 pad controls, so it might be worthwhile playing on a Sony pad if possible. Now you can play all of Bloodborne on PC, and if you think you can finish it in a month, you won’t even have to pay for it!

What Is PlayStation Now?

PlayStation Now is a video game streaming subscription service run by Sony. It has over 500 PS2, PS3, and PS4 games on it, all of which can be played for a single subscription cost, which is usually around $12.99 a month, although at the moment new subscribers can get it for just $9.99.

Games range from Sony exclusives such as the Uncharted PS3 trilogy, The Last of Us, Until Dawn and Shadow of the Colossus to third-party titles such as XCOM 2, Yakuza 5, and even the mighty Red Dead Redemption. These games aren’t downloaded, they’re streamed directly to your PC, so you’ll need a decent internet connection to get it working at an acceptable level.
