Destiny 2 Forsaken Cryo-Pod Heroic Event: How to Unlock Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Cyro-Pod Heroic Event

Destiny 2 is live now, and players are getting back into the swing of Bungie’s latest title. As part of Destiny 2‘s latest update, new missions and public events are available to play. One such public event, the Cryo-Pod Public Event, has its own heroic version that players can unlock. Here’s how to play and complete the Destiny 2 Forsaken cryo-pod heroic event.

Destiny 2 Forsaken Cryo-Pod Heroic Event: How to Unlock the Heroic Version

Whilst playing a mission on the Tangled Shore in Destiny 2 Forsaken, that sees a cryo-pod crash land on the map, players are tasked with taking out two waves of enemies to unleash a new mini-boss. The wanted enemy, called Pallas Siegebreaker, emerges from the cryo-pod upon completing this task, and players must take him down to proceed with the mission.

To unlock the heroic version of the public event, players in Destiny 2 Forsaken need to reduce Pallas’ health to the point where the cryo-pod’s vents start to emit gas. Shooting these vents reveals a core, and these cores can be thrown at Pallas to deal damage to him. Repeating this process enough times eventually freezes Pallas in place, and activates the Destiny 2 Forsaken cryo-pod heroic event. A capture-the-flag circle appears around Pallas, and players must defeat waves of more enemies to complete the public event on heroic difficulty.

Destiny 2 Forsaken Cryo-Pod Heroic Event: What Loot do You Earn from Completing it?

As always, the loot you earn in Destiny 2: Forsaken upon completing the Destiny 2: Forsaken cryo-pod heroic event varies from person to person. You are rewarded with better weapons, items, and other rewards for beating the Destiny 2 Forsaken cryo-pod heroic event, so it is worth going back and completing it once you’ve beaten the DLC’s main campaign. If you’re still too weak to beat it on Heroic, you only need to go and grind for a bit, increase your power level, and try again later on.
