Hearthstone Server Status

Hearthstone Server Status: Is Hearthstone Down?

The Hearthstone Server Status can be temperamental at times. Blizzard often has to conduct maintenance on its popular card game, during which players will receive a message that reads, “the remote server returned an error: 503 server unavailable.” This error will result in the player being booted out of the app, and trying again will likely suffer the same consequences. This is what you need to do when you get that error code.

Hearthstone Server Status: Is Hearthstone Down?

If you receive that error code, the first thing you’ll need to do is check the Hearthstone server status. This is easier to do than it sounds, as all you need to do is head over to @BlizzardCS on Twitter. There, you’ll find all of the latest news on servers and maintenance. You can also plan ahead, by regularly checking in with Blizzard’s scheduled maintenance page. This lists all of the scheduled maintenance times for the entire Blizzard catalog, so you’ll be able to see the times at which the servers will be down well in advance.

Hearthstone Server Status: Hearthstone Servers Are Up

If @BlizzardCS has not reported any server issues, check the #Hearthstone tag on Twitter to see if other people are encountering the same problem as you. If so, report it to Blizzard immediately, so that they can take action. This is down to a server crash, not planned maintenance, so it’s on the maintenance team to reinstate the server’s infrastructure. However, if there aren’t any other people mentioning that the servers are down, it’s likely that the issue is with you. You’ll need to do the following things:

  • Reset your internet connection. Either reboot your router, or unplug and reconnect your wired connection.
  • Make sure that Hearthstone and the system software on your PC or phone is operating on its most recently available update.

If neither of the above work, the Hearthstone Server Status is not the the issue. In this instance, you can get in touch with someone on the Blizzard forums here. If you post your query, giving as much information as you can, a Blizzard representative will get back to you promptly. Following their instructions step-by-step will get you reconnected in no time.
