Fortnite Cube in Fatal Fields

Fortnite Cube in Fatal Fields: What Is the Purple Block Doing?

The Fortnite Cube is still there, mysteriously standing close to Fatal Fields. Everyone still has no idea why the Purple Block appeared, or what exactly its purpose is. Only the folks at Epic Games have access to that secret knowledge, so we will have to speculate on those reasons for now. The plot thickens, as reports have shown that the cube might be moving into Fatal Fields. The Fortnite Cube in Fatal Fields mystery remains an unsolvable conundrum for us all.

Fortnite Cube in Fatal Fields: What Is the Purple Block Doing?

The Fortnite Cube originally appeared as a result of the physics-defying Fortnite Rift, which seemingly conjured the Purple Block out of thin air. We reported yesterday that the Fortnite Cube is currently being surrounded by a dome of low gravity. Now it’s been revealed that the Fortnite Cube is actually moving, and circling Fatal Fields. That might not be cause for alarm yet, but a mysterious cube moving definitely sounds like it’s leading to the arrival of something massive.

It certainly looks like Fortnite Cube is actively trying to enter the Fatal Fields area. There must be a reason why the Purple Block would be entering that specific place, presumably leading to the next stage of whatever Fortnite event or easter egg is planned by Epic Games. Purple cubes are almost always portents of bigger things to come, just like how the Cosmic Cube in Marvel Comics would always be sought by villains. The Fortnite Cube could tie into the end of Fortnite Season 5, which still has about ten weeks remaining. We had meteor crashes in Season Three, but that feels like small fry compared to the events happening right now in the battle royale game.
